It's time to get Jacie back home. she is already falling asleep.

A half a quart of Gatorade is enough for me. Hey where'd those subs go?

I hear it was game worn

How do you like my Packer Jersey?

James and The Mox

Then we took some pictures

We had subs, chips and soda.

Moxie hung out while we all ate

James had his first look at the pup.

James drove to the park and met us for our picnic.

Moxie got to eat first

We took Moxie on a picnic today.

Yes, Little Moxie likes to watch History Channel with me. I think we'll end up being good friends.

Moxie fit right in. Her first words were "let's go shopping"

When we got home, Gramma had a puppy purse waiting

Jacie is very happy now that she has a little Moxie in her life.

and slept some more

gave some kisses....

Slept....

hung out........

She slept.....

She slept most of the way home

What a pretty puppy

Moxie checks out the boss

Moxie says hi to Grandma

She warmed him up with a big towel

And said here's Moxie

Jacie got her out of her cage....

It was still raining and a bit cool outside. The first thing Jacie said when she got into the car was "turn up the heat, little MOXIE is just shivering"

We drove for another hour and finally got to the house where we picked up the puppy. Jacie and Dustin went in and came out with a little something in the pet carrier.

There was a gift shop by the bridge that was down this trail

This was the bridge made famous in the movie, "Bridges of Madison County"

The bridge is no longer used by traffic, only pedestrian

We all checked out the writings on the walls

Jacie and Dustin on the far end of the bridge

It was dry under the bridge

As we headed into Madison county, it started to rain quite hard. we followed the signs and traveled down winding gravel roads to the Rosman Bridge

John Wayne ??????

John Wayne's chin

Just off of John Wayne Drive

John Wayne's Birthplace

We headed for Winterset - Birth place of "The Duke". This was his house.

In the morning, I caught Jeannie jumping on the beds.

Jeannie was so proud of how clean her kitchen was.
