Justin nominated for IRS advisory committee
North Highlands, CA (PRWEB) May 20, 2008 -- Nationally recognized tax attorney Roni Deutch nominated her law firm's Managing Attorney, Justin Hein, to be on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council (IRSAC).

Mr. Hein has long been interested in taxes and tax law, even before becoming a part of Ms. Deutch's law firm. In his educational career, Hein obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, before earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He moved to California in 2005, when he joined Roni Lynn Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation. In the relatively short time he has been with the firm, he has represented thousands of clients and overseen dozens of improvements to how the firm handles case management and client service.
"I am excited to nominate Mr. Hein for a seat on this prestigious panel," claimed Deutch, founder. "Justin is always seeking new ways to improve everything our firm does, be it efficiency, communication, or just completely new systems for handling our cases and clients. The IRSAC is composed of a 30-person featuring diverse members of the tax community including tax attorneys, certified public accountants (CPAs), enrolled agents, enrolled actuaries, appraisers, tax practitioners, and other business representatives. It provides a forum for IRS officials and these representatives of the tax industry to discuss relevant tax administration issues. Ultimately, the Council advises the IRS on issues that have a substantive effect on federal tax administration. It does this by reviewing existing tax policy, offering constructive criticism of current or proposed policies and procedures, and suggests operational improvements on particular issues having substantive effect on federal tax administration. The IRS began accepting applications on May 1, and will stop on June 16. IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman will appoint the new members to three-year terms in January 2009.

A fun Weekend in Green Bay - but a sad ride home
For the NFC Championship, James, Jacie, Dustin, Jeannie, Justin and I all came to Title Town for the championship weekend festivities. It was VERY VERY cold. Justin flew in on Friday night. Paige and Johnnie were the smart ones, they stayed home where it was warm. The rest of us took off to Green Bay Saturday afternoon. Dustin was coaching the Mukwonago High School wrestling team in Appleton, so he met up with us in Green Bay. We went to the Hall of Fame on Saturday night, hung out in the atrium, ate at the Boston Crab Shack and stayed at the new Holiday Inn. For the game, some went and others watched on TV. We all had a great time.......except for the sad, quite, long ride home, Oh well, maybe next year.
Justin, James and I took Monday off. Justin was to fly home, but one of our "almost daily" snowstorms closed the airport and I had to drop him off Tuesday morning at Mitchell Field. He had some delays but got home and back to work in Sacramento before noon on Tuesday.

Following its recent move to Los Angeles, TLC said it hired 12 programming executives who will report to senior vice president of programming Brant Pinvidic.
The network, which had been based at the Silver Spring, Md., headquarters of parent Discovery Communications, called the team the “dream dozen.”
It named Brent Zacky vice president of programming. Zacky was previously vice president at E! Entertainment television, where he launched The Girls Next Door, Dr. 90210, Fashion Police and Chelsea Lately.
Former GSN director of original programming Tracey Lentz was named executive director of programming at TLC.
The network named former Asylym Entertainment vice president of development Christy Dees executive director of programming, and former 3Ball Productions executive Angela Molly was named director of programming.
Thee additional executives were also given director of programming titles: former Style director Stephanie Bianco, former NBC Entertainment executive Mariana Manela and former GRB Entertainment executive Holly Hines.
